If you have a wide foot dont buy any of the Mercurial shoes. It will strangulate your foot , will squeeze your feet. I went with the Adi5 X turf shoes , excelent for turf ground. Lightweight , very comfortable , and very resistand despite the fact they look fragile!!!

right now, i wear a vapor 7, and its pretty good with protection so far.

I really like your video about sizing, but you forgot to add how some pro footballer’s boots (like messi and CR7) are made custom fit for them. As most players would like to play wearing their Idol’s boots. Sadly the boots we want sometimes don’t fit us. But for I have noticed that take-down models have a flexible accommodation to wider feet. Do you reckon I’m right with this?

Could you define ‘wide feet’ because i cannot tell myself

  43.   Aaron B said,

I bought the vapor 8′s and I have a bit of a wider foot and i went a half size down and had no issues with fitting. I went to a regional tournament and put the shoes on for the first time at our first match there and had no issues. I guess it’s a personal thing.

I bought a pair of cleats that were a full size bigger and after a year and a half the sole started separating from the upper, now I understand that I should buy the shoes with no room so that doesn’t happen again. Thank you for recommending the TruSox because I have problems with my foot sliding inside the shoe.

I dont get it though. In sneakers im a size 7 and i dont fit in that size for soccer shoes i buy like 8 or 8.5. Or is it because i got a wide foot?

  47.   Pogaspm said,

on January 5th, 2013 at 2:40 pm      Reply

But Superflys are a lot wider than the vapor 8, they’re kind of made to fit all kinds of feet. Maybe if your feet are really wide, try the vapor 7.

Josh is the luckiest modafucka’ eva’. His feet are perfect for fitting soccer shoes.
